U.S. Constitution without any Latin

Here’s the Preamble to the U.S. Constitution in Anglish, a purely Germanic variety of modern English, without any words of Latin origin:

We, the Lede of the Foroned Ricks, for the Sake of making a more forfit Gathertang, staddling Righthood, bergining home Frith, behefting for the wonesome weir, uprearing the ermen Welfare, and forberrowing the Blessings of Frelse to ourselves and our Afterbairns, do behote and set up this Fortfastening for the Foroned Ricks of Americksland.

But don’t worry. No one will make you learn Anglish, if you don’t wish. It’s just a simple linguistic exercise, nothing more!

The constitution will remain written the way it is. The preamble goes like this:

We the People of the United States, in Order to form a more perfect Union, establish Justice, insure domestic Tranquility, provide for the common defence, promote the general Welfare, and secure the Blessings of Liberty to ourselves and our Posterity, do ordain and establish this Constitution for the United States of America.
